If you've never seen UCLA CONFERENCE CENTER, here in Lake Arrowhead, much less dined there, you've missed out on viewing one of the most gorgeous spots here in our mountains. Even before my youngest son (he's a chef) began working there, I was always in awe of this establishment. Whenever I'd have company, UCLA Conference Center was one place I'd take them to see.
February 23, 2009, the Conference Center will open their doors to the public for
dinner. The price for this meal is $25.00 (adults) and $15.00 (children 12 & under), will include a four-course meal, served in the main lodge (spectacular!). After dinner, our own local historian, Lee Cozad, will present a show on the history of Lake Arrowhead.
DON'T MISS THIS OCCASION!
DATE TO DINE: February 23, 2009 TIME: 6:30, (social hour starts at 5:00) RESERVATIONS: Call 909-337-8200 or EMAIL: MtBruins@aol.com

Tom: Double Ditto, to you, my friend (and Lars). :)
Fran: And a wonderful Valentine's Day to you and yours, my friend!
Kat - the conference center sounds like a great place to visit, and this event sounds great. Wishing you a Happy Valentines Day!
Sharon: If you've never seen it, the next time you're up, take a drive over to see it (Tavern Bay area). You have a super Valentine's Day, too! And a great weekend.
Kat- Sounds like a great place and you show if off nicely with the photos.
Kathie: Thanks so much. It really is a beautiful place. June Lockhart's (Lassie) family actually owned much of the land long, long ago.
