The storm/s have passed (for now) and the sun is out and glistening...so come on up for air and enjoy Lake Arrowhead and The San Bernardino Mountains. Here's a list of what's going on or other fun things to enjoy:
- LAKE ARROWHEAD VILLAGE continues to have its Winter Wonderland
Celebration, where you can shop for Christmas gifts, while enjoying The Dickens Carolers and the Holiday Stew Jazz Band, as they stroll their way around the Village. Let the kids meet Santa and, if you wish, have their picture taken with old Saint Nick. The kiddies will love seeing Blizzard the "real" Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman. - THE BLUE JAY VILLAGE for more shopping and restaurants. It's an easy walk around Blue Jay, and especially now with all the snow.... it's like a little Normal Rockwell picture.
- Always check in with the LAKE ARROWHEAD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE and see their "Calendar of Events" for a list of exciting things going on around the area.
- December 20, 2008 WILDHAVEN is having a beautiful program, Follow The Star. You've got to check this out!!
- You can always go see the most recent movies
playing at THE BLUE JAY CINEMA - Skiers, go to Southern California Ski Resorts and Slopes, as they ALL have tons of fresh powder.
But before you head up, please check the weather and driving conditions.

Great post Kat... I love the way things look right now, all white and no dirty snow yet.
Kat,
Christmas shopping in the Village sounds like fun! I hope I can find parking, because I still need to get a few things to put under the tree! Have you seen "Follow The Star", at Wildhaven?
Kim: I am FINALLY heading out today--my first trip since last Sunday--after having my driveway plowed! I'm taking along my camera.
Michelle: I've only bought three gifts, all for my Grandson....so I am WAY behind. AND, I haven't been able to mail it to him, in Utah. Thankfully, he's only 7mos, so he won't know how late it'll be. LOL
Kat- I was driving today looking at the Mountain and thinking of you and how beautiful it must be up there right now. I hope you make the time to enjoy some of the wonderful activities in your area this coming week. Merry Christmas to you, and yes your Grandson won't know it's late so don't stress :)
Kat, you are soooo busy. Lots of really cool photos and information. Okay, that picture looks like a black and white that seems very similar to some of mine. ;-) I haven't even done a hat this year....maybe I'll check out where I got it last year. Been busy...;-)
Teri: That picture was taken in 1953 (I was "almost" two)...I'm a December baby. The hat I added from Picnik.com (love that site).
