Wordless Wednesday - The Power of a Picture

When a graphic reminds you that you need a reminder to be mindful of where your thoughts, habits and emotions are. It is so easy to get wrapped up in the wrongs, the bad, the mishaps and it is so easy to forget that there is always something to be grateful for.

When we focus on the problem(s) it is so hard to see the solution. The more we speak of the problem and/or problems the more they wear us down, the more they take on a life of their own. Feel the emotion, recognize it, but release it so that you can start to focus on all the good things that have happened and the things you have yet to see!

Kat, What a simple but poignant post.  You nailed it.  I will keep in mind all my joys for the near future and I guarantee I will be a better person

Hi Kat- Love your post. We have to recognize and acknowledge our problems and then move on. Look at all that we have.

Good morning, Kat... I learned a long time ago not to talk about my problems unless it's something really critical and then only with one or two very close confidants.

That is so true - when we continue to focus on our problems, we can't get past them. Focusing on all that is good is a great tool to moving on.

Hi Kat,
Acknowledging our problem to find a solution is the key.  Wallowing in it is not going to get us anywhere, is it?  Thanks for the post!

Like our good friends Ron and Alexandra Seigel - we remind one another when it's time to stop discussing something that bugs us, or something disappointing.  We allow a few minutes to discuss the lesson and then move forward in gratitude and appreciation.  It's a discipline, but worth the effort to live happily.

We have trained ourselves for a long time now to monitor both our thoughts and our focus.  Occasionally, we may fall into something, but happily one of us will mention it, and that's over with and done.  A

Enjoyed your post and reminded me of Einstein's words being "problems cannot be solved with the same thinking we used to create them."  Time is change gears and joy is a far better gear to make that change.

Hi Kat,

I absolutely agree with this message. Rearranging how you think and talk about things can greatly affect your outlook.

Love this message, along the lines of being grateful. There is so much to be joyful about every day.

I have my grandsons (11 and 13) every other weekend. When we talk about how things are going in school, the two things they hear me say consistently are "let's turn that negative thought into a positive" and "find soemone today to be kind to." Great post. Great reminder.
