Before my family moved to Lake Arrowhead--in 1991--I did as much research as possible about the area. We knew the schools were awesome, which was actually the reason we were moving here. Most of our education, however, came from our wonderful Realtor, via "word of mouth." She was always on top of it. Those days, we made calls and did a lot of mailing back and forth to gain knowledge: Things to do, places to see, where to eat, etc.
Today, thanks to the information highway (INTERNET), we have instant access to an area before we ever leave home. I hope the sites below we will helpful to you in your search.
