We have some interesting "bugs" in our local mountains. And 99% of the time, they're not welcomed. As
a REALTOR, when I sell a home, more often than not a Pest Report is ordered.
Our most common and most destructive "pest" in Lake Arrowhead, and other mountain towns, is the Subterranean Termite. These little buggers love wood, and we in the mountains are all about wood. Subterranean Termites attack the wooden elements of homes & businesses. You may not always see their handy work right away, because it's hidden behind wall boards, siding or other wood trim.
