Your Lake Arrowhead Realtor would like to share some local Lake Arrowhead Information with you.
This coming weekend, July 17, 2010, you won't want to miss the all-day event, Music in The Mountains at
Green Valley Lake, held in the meadows. The day will be filled with beautiful Celtic music played by both, pros and beginners, not to menion the many workshop that will taking place all day.
Scheduled Workshops & Concerts:
9:00AM: Registration. This is when participants will fine tune their instruments.
9:00 - 12:00: Gourd Drum Making Workshop ($50.00)
12:00: Les Amis will play French Quebec (Dancing IS encouraged)
12:30 - 1:30:French Canadian fiddle, guitar, penny whistle and harmonica.
2:00 - 3:00; The American Experience; techniques familiar to American melodies.
Evening Concerts will host four bands: Legacy, Looney's, Fortune & Senera.
Admission: $35.00 (including three workshops, jams, day & evening concerts). For guests who are not spending the entire day, general admission is $5.00. Children under 12 FREE
Concert only Admission: $10.00
