Green Valley Lake is putting on their July 4th celebration on the 3rd. They'll have a parade, a barbecue put on by the Green Valley Lake Firefighters, and plenty of vendor booths and children's games. PLUS a Volleyball tournament.
If you've never been to Green Valley Lake, then I think it's about time you go. You won't be disappointed. This tiny town, just a few miles up Highway 18 (Rim of The World Highway) from Running Springs, sits at an elevation of 7,000 ft and really is one of the best kept secrets in The San Bernardino Mountains. Their little lake holds some of the best fish in the west, and you will know that when you see all the poles in the water. (Check out GVL Photo Album)
Green Valley Lake always seems to be hoppin', with fishing, boating, swimming and hiking. They have a new Sports Court where you can try your hand at basketball, tennis, badminton and, of course, volleyball.
So come on up and have help Green Valley Lake Celebrate The 4th of July!
