We're always talking about how important our appearance is to our business. We should look "professional" at all times--as professional as we can. This doesn't count being at home, kicking back in our old comfy sweats, hair pulled up on our head and no make up. Guys, for you, old sweats on and a day of no shaving.
So what about our car? I think cars should look "professional" also. I mean we go to all the trouble of getting ourselves prettied up, then why wouldn't we keep our car as neatly groomed?
My Subaru is extremely dirty, thanks to a showing I was on the other day. Had to go way off the beaten path on a road that was just that; a ROAD. A dirt ROAD. And later that night we had one of those pitiful summer storms where Mother Natures sprinkles about 37 big fat drops of rain on us. Enough to make a disgusting car even uglier. So, that being said, I have to tell you about an interesting conversation with my hubby this morning about my dirty car.
I said: It is filthy!
He said: Wash it. I don't have time, I'm working too-many hours. (I like that).
I said: No way. It'll make me sweat.
He said: Sweating is good for you.
I said: I already sweat plenty, I'm going through menopause.
He said: Drive through the car wash for $6.00 (he knows I won't pay $16.00 for the whole enchilada job. The $6.00 just washes it, not scrubbing or DRYING.)
I said: No, it never dries right. Gets spotty.
He said: Drive fast and the wind will blow dry it.
Well, I'm not going for the $6.00 quickie job, so I won't be breaking the speed limit anytime soon. But I will get it cleaned this weekend--sweat or no sweat.

Todd: LOL $6.00 to drive through a BIG sprinkler seems expensive to me, too--and that is about what it's like. Thanks for stopping in.
WooHoo: In my next life I want to OWN a car wash. LOL My hubby usually washes it on Sunday AM with his car wash gadgets..... I tell ya, it's so dirty I took off my car magnets with my name on them. Don't want anyone to recognize me tee hee
