Your Lake Arrowhead Realtor would like to share some local Lake Arrowhead Information with you.
One of the most important tools for Realtors to get information about their listings out to "The World" is the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). In turn, we get our clients/sellers properties out in "The Web World" and buyers looking in that particular area "find them." It's been this way for eons. It's a fact that 80% of consumers begin their home search on the 'Net; plain and simple.
That said, many of us now have to belong to many different MLS Boards in order to get the best exposure for our clients property. This means MORE money out of my pocket. I'm for simple and quick and cost efficient and that is where this new program which National Association of Realtors has introduced, Realtors Property Resource (RPR), comes into play. RPR will provide real estate professionals with data on every property in the United States.
Of course, with any new "toy" that comes on the market, there will be pros, cons, and bugs to work out. One of the biggest problems RPR may face is getting ALL the correct data available. For me, that could be a big prob since my local MLS Board is PRIVATE (Closed). However, I am open-minded enough to give RPR a chance. IF I can get more exposure for my client's home to get it SOLD, for less $$$'s, you bet I am on board for the try-outs.
