These reports are taken from the MRMLS (MLS) & IVAR (MLS) MLS BOARDS off the mountain, BECAUSE our Local Board is "private" (CLOSED). IF you're thinking about selling your home, keep in mind, you want a company who can get you ALL the exposure possible. A "Private" Board has limitations.  I belong to several "off the mountain" Boards so I can get your HOME THE BEST POSSIBLE EXPOSURE

Kat

Here is hoping you get lots of new inventory in your market.

Small regions like yours are challenged with exposure limitations.  I appreciate the extra expense belonging to other Boards incurs.

Our inventory is down as well.  I recall Leslie Appleton Young, chief economist for C.A.R. predicting last year that this year's lack of inventory would present a a more stable market.

Cory; Yes, we certainly are challenged with limitations, AND we pay so much more than the LARGE boards.  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.      I'm hoping Lesley is correct in her prediction.

Hi Kat - While low inventory means you have fewer properties to show, it also means that prices are apt to start going up.  So I guess it's good or bad, depending on whether you are representing buyers or sellers.  Either way, I think you have the right idea to invest in the extra boards to get lots of exposure for listings and lots more listings and data to show your buyers.
