This post provides some vital information/advice provided by my friend, Gary.
Think quick. Your house is burning down. The family is safe outside. You have five minutes to run back inside and get anything you want. What do you save?
Most would save slices of love.
Snippets of time preserved in photographic form. An agent in our office actually had a house fire over Christmas so these things happen.
Your valuable photograph collection is very meaningful to you as the years go by and you see yourself and others change and the people that enter and exit your life.
One great idea for better organization for the new year is to develop some kind of keepsake box or chest where all your photos are at least in one place, the albums, the loose glossy ones. If you save many digital photos maybe upload them to a web site.
Something to think about.

Kat, great idea, I do have my photos on my computer, so I guess that I would take the computer and the back up drive!
Kat
Pictures can last a life time, and have a Happy Birthday again.
Caren: I do too, and a "stick." We can never be too safe I say.
Tom and Lars: THANK YOU again, my friend.
Hi Kat. How are you? Thanks for re-posting this over on your site. I wish you a tremendous 2010. Happy New Year!!
