THUNDERSTORMS IN THE MOUNTAINS
I woke up this summer morning to the smell of rain.... that clean, clear smell. And living in the mountains, you get that clean, clear smell mixed with pine. Like when you're camping in the woods. Love it!
So if you're heading up today, be prepared for some sprinkles and perhaps thunderstorms. Check the weather, bring appropriate clothing (nothing really heavy, the temps are mild) and be careful driving the windy road up.
Check the weather and come on up for "fresh air" and fun!

The smell of rain and pine is like camping in the woods... that's what living in Lake Arrowhead is always like.
Kat, the smell of fresh rain just gets you in the mood for anything! Busy busy busy!
Kat, Send some of that rain down my way! I love rain - a very rare commodity down the mountain. Anyway, my husband is up on the mountain near Fish Creek camping right now with his Boy Scout Troop. I suppose they are getting a bit wet.
Caren: Exactly... busy busy busy, me too. Love it.
Vicki: I think they will gt a tad wet, but I doubt they'll care as they'll be having so much fun. I'll tell the rain Gods to head your way.
My husband ran up this morning....it's raining here too, but it's not the same as that wonderful mix of pine and water.

I would love the smell of fresh air. The idea of a thunderstorm on a mountain is what I would love. Lots of lightning as well.
