Launching Your Boat in Lake Arrowhead

If you live within "The Woods" and have lake rights, you may also own a boat and use the lake for recreational purposes. Lake Arrowhead is owned and operated by ARROWHEAD LAKE ASSOCIATION (ALA). Below is a list of MUST HAVES in order to put your boat in Lake Arrowhead, including costs, rules and regulations:
To Launch a Boat
- Registration fee: $200 per boat with dock. $300 w/o a dock.
- Minimum length of a motored-boat: 12 feet. Maximum: 26 feet.
- Own property within Arrowhead Woods (Grant Deed). See AWAC Guidelines
- Must have an ARROWHEAD LAKE ASSOCIATION (ALA) Membership: General Membership, Beach Club Membership, or Dock Membership
- Own a DMV Registered boat.
- Carry $500,000 combined single limit liability and Arrowhead Lake Association must be named as "Additional Insured"
- Have a proper mooring (Slip Rental Agreement Signed by Slip owner), or day launch
- Have a boat operator's license

Lake Arrowhead is a deal with keeping a boat in the water; it's crazy how expensive it is to keep a boat on the great Lakes in Wisconsin. Do you do a lot of boating in your area?
