Yesterday, I had floor time, but really wasn't expecting much business since this is Memorial Weekend. I was waiting for a client, however, to show up so I could show her a new listing our office has. While waiting...in comes a nice couple wanting a little local real estate information. The MR. gave me his name and e-address. He spelled out his last name; D-I-M-A-G-G-I-O. I said, "Like Joe???" He said YEP. I thought he was pulling my leg and said so, since he loves to tease.. I glanced up at his wife and she nodded. The nephew of Joe Dimaggio. All-be-darn! Everyday is an experience in this business.
Who have you met. Any interesting people?

The stories you must have been able to get from him! I have met several "celebrities" when I lived in Philadelphia, but I was quite honestly not very impressed with them. Most of them thought they were something special just because they have a public persona.
I have much more respect for the average "Joe" who is in the trenches every day earning a living.
David, Steven and Jennifer. Thanks for commenting. Fun topic, isn't it?
Ardell and Mary: I totally agree about confidentiality in this, or any, business. BUT I didn't mention my client's name, only his uncle's name--and dead uncle at that. WE, as a nation, are so afraid anymore to say anything. We need to relax some... enjoy life a bit more. My client happens to be very proud of his family name. AND many members of his family, I bet, there are.
