Lake Arrowhead Homes For Sale & So Much More

WHAT kind of HOUSE are YOU?

Remember when Barbara Walters used to ask her guest "If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?" I think it was BW. Anyway...

As several of us sat in the office today: one working on a listing, another on a hopeful listing and the other playing solitaire, we started discussing what kind of houses we ARE. "Well," I said, right off the bat. "I have an attached two-car garage and my foundation is questionable," I added.

One of my Realtor buddies smiled. "You're traditional."

Traditional? ME?    It's a wonderful design, very nice, but I just don't feel like one.

No, I think I'm more Country-style    .  You know, with the cute front porch--wider than it needs to be--but warm and welcoming.  Plus, a little chipped paint here and there....Yeah, that's me.

Now, Rainers...what about you?  What kind of house are YOU?

I am a double wide oceanfront trailer fairly portable and mobile with a gorgeous view and direction.  Foundation may be a little shaky, but always willing to invite people in.

I'm a post-Victorian farmhouse. I have some incredible design features, but am also sturdy, down-to-earth, and functional.

I'd be an ecclectic mix between a low-slung Spanish style home and a Tuscan country home.  There would be lots of tile, wood, open spaces and windows, and great views. There would be some wrought iron, and a fireplace that commanded one wall of a living or great room - but large windows and doors taking over the long side of the room with sweeping views and a covered patio. But it would be a mix, so a courtyard, maybe with bouganvilla climbing a wall, or maybe lilacs over a covered walkway, and a fountain to greet visitors. There would be both the sense of space and intimacy. It would be both a bustling home and a retreat.

I am a log home nestled in the Montana Mountains. Nice and Cozy inside where almost anyone would feel comfortable as long as you abided by the main rule of the home which is ...all shoes off at the door ;)

Foundation is a little unstable....renovations on the way...........

Very bright colors throughout the home that will keep you well balanced.... I think...Lol
