For reader lovers everywhere, there are plenty of book stores, libraries and clubs to quench your thirst for the written word here in our mountains. Here's a little taste....
LAKE ARROWHEAD LIBRARY. Our local library is special for young and old. For instance, they have programs for Preschoolers & Kindergartners called "Story time," which is based on the "Every Child Ready to Read" program. This program helps promote the six literacy skills every child needs before heading off to "real" school.
